Filling out the sign-up form
The sign-up form is our entry gate to capture the high-level characteristics of your mining operation. After completing the sign-up form our team will review the information and get in touch with you.
Receiving your access credentials
- When accessing the application for the first time, you will be asked to set up 2-Factor-Authentication.
- When you first login, you be notified that you are required to complete the Know-Your-Customer assessment before having access to more information.
Completing the Know-Your-Customer assessment
This procedure is currently handled by an accredited third-party provider and is conducted in accordance with the Swiss Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulation issued by the Swiss Financial Markets regulator (FINMA).
- Block Green will use the submitted user information to contact you and an authorized signatory* via email to start the Know-Your-Customer (KYC) assessment.
- You will receive an email containing all relevant links to complete the following steps:
- Complete a KYC questionnaire where you will disclose more information about yourself and your company.
- Upload legally required documents such as the Certificate of Incorporation and an overview of your company’s ownership structure.
- In addition, the authorized signatory* will be asked to perform a video identification and digitally sign off on the KYC documentation.
- Upon receiving the required information, we will conduct regulatory required checks regarding Politically Exposed Persons (PEP), crime, and sanction lists and our AML Officer will review any findings.
- We will come back to you in case we require further information.
*We only need a separate authorized signatory from your company if the person submitting the KYC information does not have signatory rights.
Accessing the app
- After passing the AML/KYC checks and KYM assessment, you will receive a welcome email with a link to the Block Green app.
- You can now access the app using your new credentials.
- If you want to create an opportunity on the application, you are required to complete the Know-Your-Miner assessment.
Completing the Know-Your-Miner assessment
- You will be asked to complete a form with required financial and operational data (e.g. income statement, balance sheet, energy price).
- You will be able to provide optional additional information that helps to improve the accuracy of our assessment.
- Block Green will conduct an in-depth due diligence on the provided information, and will contact you for any additional required information.
- On the basis of the KYM assessment, we will assign each Miner three scores for financial health, operational health and sustainability (max. 100 points per category).
- With your consent, we will prepare a data room containing some of your provided data that can be shared with potential Liquidity Providers.
